Accademia Gallery Timed Entry Tickets

If we hadn't gotten tickets in advance we wouldn't have been able to get in. Headout was convenient for me. I got all the tickets before traveling and even though you spend a little more, we didn't risk not being able to get in.

It is a very busy place outside the Academia but the ticket office we needed to find to get our tickets was easy to locate and the museum itself was amazing. David was a wondrous sight to see.

The Accademia was beautiful and not so big that we were overwhelmed. This was one of the most digestible museums we saw in Europe. Seeing David in-person was everything I hoped it would be. Even with a timed ticket, we waited about 30 minutes to get in, but it was worth the wait.

Three ladies from crown tours made my day!!! I only remember one of the three girls names, Hershey Sweet... I arrived on sight and somehow only paid for one ticket. I don't know how I made that mistake, but the three crown tour ladies helped me get a second ticket and made my visit awesome. They were friendly, kind and I very much enjoyed talking to them. Thanks!!!

Score 7.5. The host gave us 2 tickets for one time slot and 1 ticket for another time slot. We were a family of three. We were separated at the entrance to the museum. Not an experience to give. top marks.

The Galleria D'Accademia visit was truly memorable, not least of course because it is the home of the original David. My ticket was able to be viewed at the entrance by the staff member , once inside a physical ticket is given to you to allow you into the museum. Very straightforward for which I was grateful.

It was so amazing. I have been to the academia before but it was my husbands first time there. He has an art degree and he loved every single part of the academia.

I appreciated the instructions about how to transfer the email tickets to paper tickets. When we arrived (30 min. early), there were already three different lines and no one seemed to know which line was which. Even though the staff was trying to manage the situation, there needed to be more signage and clearer instruction about the timed entries. Several people had timed entry tickets for a time before us, but they hadn't been admitted into the gallery.

The colossus! An imposing work of art. It gives to understand the studies of the time and the perfection to which the human being can reach to create.

Great way to do the accademia museum - the line was huge and we got to skip it. Using Headout was super easy, just download the app and have the ticket loaded. There was a guy at the meeting location who verified us right away. Very straightforward. We did not do any audio guides and enjoyed our visit, though for anyone looking to learn a bit more an audio guide could be helpful.

The museum was beautiful, so many amazing paintings and statues Guide was easy to find although the resources provided two different locations for ticket pick up.

Visiting the museum for the first time alongside my older brother made the experience all the more amazing. I was able to soak in the beauty of everything, and was awestruck throughout my visit.

Staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to enter earlier than scheduled and avoided standing in a long line in the sun.

Gave an "awesome" rating only because we loved the Michaelangelo's David sculpture (fascinating) & the room of plaster sculpture of full bodies & the head & chest. Not interested in the other many rooms of 1300-1400 Greek Orthodox 2-dimensional paintings of saints.

Very chaotic. Although we had tickets without commas we did it anyway. We also had a traffic problem and when we called customer service they told us that if we did not arrive on time we would lose the ticket. They gave us no choice.

Quick museum of Michelangelo and a few other artists. Had no idea how big the David was. It was enormous! Very cool. Worth seeing. Headout was really easy to use.

Loved the statue of David. The rest was neat but nothing like the other museums. This one maybe would be cooler if it got more authentic sculptures instead of just the one and the rest plaster replicas

Great communication throughout. Perhaps need a clearer instruction about locating the guides but once located everything ran smoothly. Booked for 12:30 entry and got in on time. Fabulous experience.

We skipped the long hours to enter the Galleria de l'Acadèmia. The audio guide was very useful to appreciate all the works of art.

It was wonderful to skip the long line & we got right in at our scheduled time! Seeing the statue of David was incredible!
