St. Peter’s Basilica Dome Guided Tour with Optional Breakfast

Ticketing xp was fine and smooth. Tour guide was knowledgeable and open to answer questions. Group size was decent. The Pieta statue was not available besides the ongoing restoration work on main altar due to next years Jubilee. It would have been right to be informed beforehand. I would have booked other tours probably.

Our guide was super nice and it was a great experience and well worth seeing. 4/5 stars ⭐️ = actually 5 stars but when we picked up our guide we weren't told anything else at the ticket office and so we walked to St. Peter's Basilica even though the meeting point was in front of the agency. But we were called and then picked up at St. Peter's Basilica :D

Everything went smoothly. The booking was straightforward and the meeting point was easy to find. Our tour guide was nice and very knowledgeable. And with the mobile audio device, we could always understand them well.

St Peter's Basilica never disappoints, the guide very knowledgeable, Our tickets didn't give us priority entrance - disappointing The guided tour included the Dome climb but we had to buy separate tickets to enter the Dome. The advertising was misleading.

Our tour guide gave us a very good overview of the basilica throughout the tour. She was always concerned about my condition, going up the stairs to the dome and coming down as well. She took care to give me important information in Spanish, considering that the group was English speaking.

Stephano, and Headouts Office staff member were very gracious and kind. My tour guide was very informative and accommodating . St. Peter's Basilica was absolutely incredible! I also really enjoyed the Dome ..: the views and the refreshments bar and again the staff! Very kind ! II do suggest more info re the very important women whom Popes throughout the ages honoured by erecting monuments and or arranging their burial at rhe Basilica.

The meeting point was well described and easy to find. The early time of the tour was ideal, as there weren't that many people in St. Peter's Basilica yet. Inga has incredible knowledge and guided us unerringly to the cathedral. Perfectly organized, we had few waiting times. All in all, a very interesting and recommendable activity!!!!

VERY well organized! Virtually no waiting time, because someone from the agency had always been in line for us and got the tickets. The tour was very informative and exciting Perfect!

Tour guide was amazing but May 28, St Peter is not there. So we didn't get to see it. A little disappointed that we weren't told in advance.

The tour guide was excellent - very imformative. The tour was advertised as 2hrs long so I had arranged to meet my daughter after 2.5 hrs to give me a bit of extra time - but it is 2hrs once you are inside the Basilica - so the 15 minute walk to St Peter's Square and the hour spent queuing ( and often it is longer than this) were extra - consequently I had to message my daughter and rearrange a meeting time for an hour and a half later.

We had a lovely tour with Serena. She was so informative, helpful, cheerful and accommodated to everyone's needs. She had a lot to say and kept us entertained... even in the lines waiting. I would recommend this tour to everyone! Loved it.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and the queue to get into the basilica (over an hour) went very quick as he kept us entertained with history and stories. Once inside, he showed us the not to miss sites as well as some of his favourites

Excellent guide. The only thing to improve on is that there is no breakfast in the Basilica: it's a croissant with boxed juice at the meeting point of the tour. Meeting at a bakery next to the Basilica is a great idea. But announcing that breakfast in the Basilica is wrong is disappointing.

Our guide Inga was awesome, very pleasant voice, lots of knowledge and friendliness. A great tour. For better planning, it should be mentioned that the mentioned tour time only starts from the entrance after the security check and is without the ascent of the dome. So we spent about 4.5 hours in total on the tour, as we only waited about 45 minutes at the security checkpoint and took about 1.25 hours to climb the dome without the elevator. If we had taken the elevator, we would have had to wait another 1.5 - 2 hours. We can really only recommend the tour.

Friendly guide who gave a comprehensive and interesting explanation, answered questions and gave the group time to explore on their own. Many thanks for this exciting tour!

Maria was our guide. She is the best!!!! Excellent!!!!! She is absolutely great!!!! She has complete knowledge of everything she had to teach us, lots of patience and always did her best for us.
