Cirque du Soleil: LUZIA Melbourne

The whole package was amazing, from very talented and professional performers ,music singing ,humour ,and visual effects. The audience was drawn in and entertained. A great experience !

Thoroughly enjoyed show - it was exciting to see and the cast so talented and they were clearly enjoying themselves and worked hard to engage the audience

I enjoyed the show, the fill in acts were not that entertaining to adults, more aimed at kids. The song sung in ?spanish? Had no meaning to those who only spoke English. She had a lovely voice, but with out knowing what she was singing about was disappointing. The water acts were good, but a lot of time was spent cleaning up . The team was very nimble and what they did do was good.definitely a couple of standout performances. I think I expected more, for the price, and the $25 parking fee.

Show was really great so mesmerising and energetic $25 parking $25 on water (2) and ice cream (1) absolutely deplorable

From start to finish it was just spectacular and very moving, teared up many times just being in awe of everything and everyone. The music, the energy, the talent, it was one of the best moments of my life. Thank you to all involved, feel very blessed to have been able to experience such a fantastic event.

The performances were all high class The prices for food and wine were exorbitant. The wines serves were miniscule and you wouldn't classify the food as nutritious, by any stretch of the imagination. Very disappointing to say the least

The music, stunning sets and the incredible talents of each cast member. It was also appealing to kids and audiences of all ages. A beautiful homage to Mexico and a show with a lot of heart.

The show was good , not great . However my main cause of disappointment was the ridiculous prices that were changed for food and drink and the lack of imagination in the variety of food offered.

There was a $25 parking charge which was not included in the information with the ticket. Whilst I understand that parking generally is not free, average cost for parking is around $10-15 so $25 is gouging. There no signage indicating the cost until well into the venue, which is also entrapment as you were left with no option.

Almost everything about the experience was spectacular. The performers strength, flexibility and athleticism was truly incredible. I have so much respect for what they do. The show was totally mesmerising. The only negative was the size of the seats. They were tiny. I am a slim to average sized woman and my shoulders touched the stranger next to me. Our whole row sat one person forward and one back because we all could not fit if we sat with our backs against the chairs. This unfortunately made the two hours very uncomfortable. For the price of the tickets it was disappointing the seats were not larger. I don't know how people of above average weight and height could have possibly fitted in their seat if I couldn't.

The performers, the choreography, the music, the visuals and the underlying theme of Mexico. It all added up to pure magic.

Some performances were jaw dropping, others were good fun, while the contortionist was extraordinary. Music was enjoyable although I could not distinguish the words the singer sang.

Cirque du Soleil are never a disappointment and this applies to LUZIA. The performers are amazing and the stage , lighting incredible.

Cirque du Solais LUZIA 2024, Melbourne, Australia... was one of the most spectacular performances that I have seen. Intertwining the old ART of circus with the ART of modern performance. The artful intricacy & beauty of the costumes, along with the incredible stage design. The stage was alive with brilliantly choreographed talented performers... 2nd to none. The 'LUZIA' clown (Eric Koller) was outstanding/hilarious/captivating... not like any clown I've seen before. I left the show in total awe... therefore, immediately went online & purchased tickets for my son & his wife. I couldn't bare the thought of them missing out on the 'performance of a lifetime'!

Always Always an amazing experience - talent; visual efforts; costumes - all of it. One thing I was diappointed in (& 1st time) the selection of food & beverages - so limiting :( - 2 of our party were vegan - no vegan options; just pastries & pop corn 1 variety of potatoe chips (chilli) - a plain option would have been helpful prices were rediculous - patrons sitting around me made the same observation -familes cannot afford to give their children an experience like this at these prices

The show was a completely unique experience and such an amazing distraction from every day life . The performers were so incredibly talented and mind blowing in their individually unique skills. We were so happy to attend this memorable event

Other than seeing the live show which was fantastic, the way the stage revolved, allowing greater audience experience, viewing and participation, was well executed. The entrance, direction displays to seating again was very well organised and executed. The merchandise display and sales was well placed and again easily accessible. The only weak point was that we were unable to buy any hot drinks and the food selection was limited. It would have been useful to have prior information on the limitations in this area. Just for those who were looking for a total experience as an outing. Sorry if it was available and I missed seeing it on the system. "Especially if you are coming with children and need to have foods for them. " In summary, the artists were fantastic in their execution of their art and skills. The colours and the acrobat shows were amazing. The music and singing added to the excitement of the show. Everyone was brilliant.

We came over from Tasmania especially to see it. We took our daughter and granddaughter as our daughter, many years ago, did Gymnastics and I knew she would appreciate the hard work that went into it.
