Using the card is very convenient, but I was surprised by the fact that I bought the card online and could not download it to my phone. It was good that we were able to find an info office to get a paper card! Once the card was received, there were no problems! I use it both in public transport and in museums!

Subway travel was excellent, but discount for hop on hop off bus disappointing as we couldn't make use of the ticket we bought on day two due to Vienna marathon. So we paid for a 48 hour ticket , but could only use it once.

First I had to install your app, and then also some other app to get my metro ticket. Fill out all info. Took me like 20 minutes for two people. Pretty annoying. When I got the metro tickets, it wasn't clear how to use them. Whether we had to check in or not.

How To Activate Your Vienna City Card

In your order confirmation e-mail, you will find the exact date until when the redemption of your code is possible. Once the code has been redeemed, the activation must be carried out within a period of 6 months after purchase.
