National Tile Museum

We really enjoyed the way the tile museum was curated as we moved through the history and evolution of the art. Enhanced by the setting/

Booking on the phone to go to the museum on the day was wasy enough and we were able to walk straight in when we arrived. The tile museum is interesting showing their development and changing styles. For us it built on what we'd seen at the Monastry.

I liked learning about the history of tile in Portugal. I loved seeing all of the tile exhibits. It's so awesome that the venue is a church. The shop has some nice stuff. I wish I knew earlier about being able to paint your own tile experience. It was booked up on the day we went and for the day after, so look on their website and book ahead.

The exhibit was amazing and the written descrioptions were outstanding. The twentieth century tiles were a great addition to the collection.

We ended up using our tickets the day before I had actually booked, but there was no problem with that at all. There was no queue, which gave us that much more time to explore the museum, check out the gift shop, and purchase refreshments in the cafe. Never have I seen so many tiles in my life! Visiting the National Tile Museum was definitely a highlight of our brief stay in Lisbon.

I appreciated the opportunity to visit a site I may have overlooked. This was a site which should be a "must see" in Lisbon. The ticket process with headout was simple to complete and once at the venue entrance was seemless.

I loved looking at all the tile art. As far as my tickets, the tickets did not load completely. I was so lucky that the staff after trying to assist me allowed me and my companions to enter.

I booked the tickets in the last minute and was very happy to be able to get the tickets. The code provided was easy to use. And the address on the ticket meant I didn't have to do any more research. Thanks
